Epimely is named for attentive care.
Epimely is from the Greek epimeleia -- attentive care, careful tending, the patient kind of attention you give to what matters most.
"Take care of him."
Not manage. Not process. Take care of him. That is the work pastors do, and it is the reason Epimely exists.
A church can have a fine directory and still lose track of the quiet care that happens between Sundays: the hospital visit, the bereavement follow-up, the person who asked for prayer and trusted the church not to turn it into gossip. Epimely is a place to write that work down without widening who can read it.
The name is meant to keep the product honest. Software can help with memory, coordination, privacy, and accountability. It should not pretend to replace the actual pastoral work.
