The Epimely iPhone app brings the dashboard, care queue, people, and follow-ups to your phone for hospital visits, on-call evenings, and the moments between.
Mobile access follows the same privacy model.
The app uses the same server data model as the website. Mobile convenience does not create a second copy of pastoral records or bypass default-deny access.
Encrypted at rest, per church
Each church gets its own encryption key. Sensitive records -- visit notes, intake answers, contact details -- are sealed in the database, never stored as plain text.
Default-deny, not default-open
Signing in grants almost nothing. Access is decided per person -- by role, assignment, and explicit grant -- not one master key that opens everyone's file.
Sealed confidential requests
Mark a request confidential and only pastors and above can open it. It's sealed at the database -- it won't even appear in anyone else's list.
Triage without exposure
An assigner can route incoming needs while names, emails, and phone numbers are redacted to initials -- on the server, not just hidden in the page.
A tamper-evident audit log
Every read of personal information, every elevation, and every access grant is written to a hash-chained log. You can prove who saw what, and when.
Tenant-isolated by design
Your church's data never sits beside another's. Even admins step into full access deliberately -- a 30-minute, re-authenticated, fully logged window.
