What Epimely is, how roles shape the app, signing in, and trying the demo.
Epimely is pastoral-care software for churches. It gives your care team one confidential place to keep track of people, care requests, queues, care plans, forms, follow-up tasks, resources, milestones, and the notes that help a church care consistently.
Everything is scoped to your church. The app is default-deny by design: a role opens a section, but assignment, explicit grants, admin elevation, and redaction rules decide which records a user can actually see.
How to
Sign in
Go to the sign-in page and enter your church identifier, email, and password. New users are invited by an admin. If a user was added but never received an invite, an admin can resend the invite from Settings -> Users.
Try the demo first
From the public site, use the demo to open a fictional church with sample people, requests, forms, resources, and settings. The demo banner lets you switch roles so you can see how the sidebar and pages change.
Use the left sidebar
The sidebar shows only the sections your role can access. Admins and Pastoral Care Leaders see the broadest care workspace; Pastoral Care users see care work and groups; Queue Managers see request triage, queues, and resources; Viewers see the request queue only with details and PII hidden.
Watch for scoped-list notices
If a list looks shorter than expected, look for a notice explaining that it is showing only your assignments. Admins can enter admin mode when they truly need an org-wide view.
Tips
- The demo data is fictional and safe to explore.
- The top Dashboard includes current version history so staff can see what changed recently.
- The iOS app and website use the same server data model; the app should not depend on offline-only local records for church data.
