Tasks

Follow-up work with due dates, priorities, assignments, and form-generated tasks.

Tasks are the concrete follow-ups that keep care from falling through the cracks. They can be assigned to a staff member, linked to a person, and given a due date and priority.

Forms can create tasks automatically when a follow-up is needed, so a submitted contact log can immediately become assigned work.

How to

  1. Create a task

Click New task, enter a title and optional description, choose a due date, and set a priority.

  2. Filter tasks

Use the status and priority filters to focus on pending, in-progress, urgent, high-priority, or completed work.

  3. Complete or reopen

Click the checkbox to mark a task done. Click again to reopen it.

  4. Use form-generated follow-ups

When a form submission marks follow-up as needed, Epimely creates a pending task assigned to the submitter or the staff member who sent the link, linked to the person record.

Tips

  • Overdue tasks show on the Dashboard and sidebar badge.
  • Tasks linked to a person help establish person access for the assigned user.

Tasks are visible according to role and assignment scope. Creating tasks is for Pastoral Care and above.
